Focus Fruit
What we keep, and what we never see.

Focus Fruit does not track you and shows no advertising. We keep the few things an account needs — your email address, your name, your sessions — and counts of how the app is used. What you write down stays on your phone: your goal, your tasks, and which apps you lock are never sent to us.

What we collect, and why
Everything below is tied to your account. None of it is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and none of it is sold or shared with data brokers or advertisers.

What never leaves your phone
Some things are deliberately kept out of everything above:
- What you write. Your goal, your tasks and the names you give your own activities stay on your device. They are never sent with a usage count, and we never read them.
- Which apps you lock. When you choose the apps to shut during a session, iOS never tells the app which ones they are. Focus Fruit cannot see your list, and neither can we. That choice never leaves your phone.
Who processes it for us
We use four providers, each for one job, and none of them for advertising:
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, and all payments. Apple's own privacy policy applies to what it collects.
- Supabase — the database holding your account and your sessions.
- RevenueCat — keeps track of whether your subscription is active.
- PostHog — usage counts and crash reports, on their United States instance.
Your account and your sessions live in a Supabase database in US West, and RevenueCat and PostHog are in the United States too. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your data therefore leaves your country; our providers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses to allow that.
Tracking and advertising
There is none. Focus Fruit contains no advertising SDK, asks for no advertising identifier, and never joins what it knows about you with another company's data about the same person. This is why the app does not show iOS's tracking prompt: it has nothing to ask for.
How long we keep it
Your account and your sessions are kept for as long as you have an account, and go the moment you delete it. Usage counts and crash reports are kept for twelve months, then deleted.
Your choices
Deleting your account
You can delete it yourself, from inside the app: open your account settings and choose Delete my account. Your fruit, your name, every session and every trace of you in anyone else's app go at the same moment, and there is no copy kept afterwards. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — that lives with Apple, in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

Getting a copy, or correcting something
Write to the same address and we will send you what we hold, or fix what is wrong. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you also have the right to object to processing, to ask us to restrict it, and to complain to your national data protection authority.
Turning things off
Your name is yours to change at any time in the app. Notifications can be turned off in iOS Settings, and so can the permission that lets sessions lock your apps.
Children
Focus Fruit is not made for children and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child under 13. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always tells you when it was last updated.
